The comfort band expands over a wider area with gentle elastic eliminating the restriction and even cutting that other sock cuffs often produce. - Designed for men or women with wide feet or any condition where feet, ankles or calves are wide or swollen. These super soft alpaca socks have extra wide gusseted ribs for the widest expansion as well as an extra wide comfort top which keeps them from cutting the calves.

- Alpaca wool is an all natural, hypoallergenic and allergen free fiber, far softer than sheep wool and equal to cashmere, which wicks moisture keeping feet dryer than cotton or acrylic. Alpaca aids in the reduction of odor, blisters, calluses, and overall foot health.

I bought this because it was supposed to be a warm sock. It is more like a dress sock, very thin, not very warm. It is also a bit tight where the foot goes, I got a large, and wear a 10 1/2 , so should fit fine. In my opinion it's not worth the price.
