Pentair Racer / Racer LS Pressure Side Cleaner Feed Line Float

The feed line float is a replacement part made by Pentair. Making this a genuine OEM product.

The feed line float was built for the feedline hose kit that takes the water from the dedicated return line, which is powered by a booster pump and disperses the water into the cleaner. Giving it the power to suck and pull dirt and debris off the surface of your pool. Without this float the hose would fall to the depths of your pool, weighing your cleaner down and causing impediments throughout the surface.

This float is gray and is strategically placed throughout the length of the hose kit to keep it above the water and from being tangled up causing disruption for the cleaner. Great troubleshooting tip if the hose continues to get tangled is to first check the turn jets to see if they are clogged and whether they are operating correctly. If that’s not the issue then it may be due to the placement of the feedline floats. You can fix this by adjusting the placement of the floats as they may not be in the right areas depending on the size of the feedline hose and pool.
