Great for canoe trailer

I bought a bunch of these for a canoe trailer. They work great and are easy to use. I used the 8ft straps and we wrapped the looped end around the inside of the rack a couple of times then girth hitched it. We wrapped it so that when we strap the canoes down there is only about 6 inches of tail left. The buckles are solid. The material seems a bit softer/less durable than a standard NRS strap, but hopefully they hold up.

Tie downs that add tension and relieve stress

As a truck owner for over 26 years I'm prepared to get creative every time I put something in or on my truck. This is largely due to the lack of consideration and tie down points on the truck. I naturally gravitated to ratchet and cam straps since they're more versatile. I've owned over 50 different variations and though there are some good designs available, the quality is always so poor that it affects the performance to the point of unsafe or too frustrating to use. Whenever a great maker takes on something simple, I get very excited. I ordered a set of double cams as soon as I learned about them. The quality is the best I've seen by far. They work a bit differently than standard cam straps too. Once you spend the 2 minutes studying the device the use cases start to arrive and evolve in your mind. If you tie things to your car these are an absolute must. If you can manage to keep track of them they will last a lifetime and ultimately cost less than the cheapest straps available. Spend your money in the hood.

Great tie down straps

I have been tying various river craft onto roof racks for 30 years and these are the best straps I've ever used
