Goodbye Deficit Deadlifting!

CAP quality can be hit or miss, it doesn't bother me because it's weight to move and serves it's purpose. I'm not a pro competitor just a dude trying to stay in shape. With that being said, I was floored by the quality of this particular product on it's build quality, considering it's price range. Something to note, these are ~4" bigger in diameter than the 25 pound versions. What this means is it will sit the bar up 2" higher, which has helped my deadlift quite a bit. Reaching down for the 25s was basically doing a deficit deadlift! The bigger size and weight does make these a bit cumbersome to navigate the weight area, so be prepared!

These are very aesthetically pleasing free weight plates. They also make the classic “clang” sound against each other while lifting that just motivates you to push through another repetition.
