Cernunnos, known to the Celts as `The Horned One,` is the stag-antlered God of the Forest, God of Prosperity, and God of the Underworld. He often carried a bag filled with coins and was purported to be a shape-shifter with the ability to turn himself into any animal. His antlers are regarded as symbols of virility and fertility. The Horned God is born at the winter solstice, marries the goddess at Beltane, and dies at the summer solstice, representing the growing season and bountiful harvests. This wonderful tealight candle holder features Cernunnos in a seated position, looking into the flame of the candle. Crafted of cold cast polyresin, the candle holder has a metallic bronze finish to give it the look of metal and has hand-painted accents to show off the incredible detail. It measures 5 inches high, 4.75 inches long, and 4.75 inches wide. It makes a great gift for yourself, or for any practitioner of Earth religions.
