I love these for my soon-to-be 5 year old, and so does she. These are perfect to keep her ears warm, without the worry of messing up her hair. My only complaint, they aren't khaki at all...They're a really light tan, almost a grayish color. But that kind of works to our advantage, cause I was going to purchase the gray also, but she can wear the "khaki" with silver or gold.
