It’s perfect for those fearlessly exploring sustainable period care and wanting to reduce their single-use impact. Made of premium medical-grade silicone, the Cora Cup is designed to be incredibly comfortable and simple to use.
While most women can comfortably wear either size of the cup, we want you to find the best fit for your body and flow. SIZE 1 (SMALL) is best if you have not given birth and you do not have light bladder leaks. SIZE 2 (MEDIUM): is best for those who've given birth or you have light bladder leaks.

Using the Cora Cup We designed the Cora Cup to be comfortable and easy to use, so you can fearlessly explore an innovative and sustainable way to manage your period. If this is your first time using a cup, it may take 2-3 cycles to learn how it works with your body and to get the hang of it. First Things First You’ll need to sanitize your Cora Cup before first use and between cycles. Bring a pot of water to boil, place your cup in the water and let it boil for 5-7 minutes. Remove the cup with tongs and allow it to cool completely before use. Before every use, wash your hands with water and mild soap and rinse thoroughly. Wash your cup after each use with a ph-balanced soap, like the Cora Cup Cleanse. Inserting Your Cup 1. Fold your cup using one of the folds shown below. The finger indent will help guide your fold. PUSH-DOWN FOLD Push the side of the cup with the finger indent down and into the cup. 7-FOLD Flatten the cup and bring one end down so the rim looks like the number 7. C-FOLD Flatten the cup and bring the ends together so the rim forms a “C” shape. Inserting Your Cup, cont. 2. Sitting, squatting or with one leg raised (to help relax your pelvic muscles), gently separate your labia with your free hand. 3. Relax your pelvic muscles and guide the folded cup rim-first into your vagina, slightly upward and toward your tailbone. Keep the cup folded until it is entirely inside of your vagina. 4. Lubrication can also help with insertion; you can wet your cup with water and shake it off, or use a silicone-safe lubricant. 5. Gently release your folded cup, allowing it to open and seal to your vaginal walls. Holding the base, rotate the cup to help it seal. If it’s difficult to rotate, it is sealed correctly. You can also tug gently on the stem—if you feel a slight suction, it is sealed correctly. Removing Your Cup 1. Wash your hands with mild soap and water and rinse well. 2. Sitting, squatting, or with one leg raised, find the base of the cup with your thumb and forefinger. If you cannot reach it, relax, use your pelvic floor muscles to push down on the cup, or use the stem to help your fingers locate the base of the cup. Do not pull on the stem prior to releasing the sealing suction. 3. Once you feel the base of the cup, pinch the bottom of the base in order to release the sealing suction. 4. Holding the base of the cup, gently move it side to side while guiding it out. Keep the cup upright to avoid spillage. 5. Empty into a toilet or sink. Wash with pH-balanced soap, like the Cora Cup Cleanse, and water. 6. Your Cora Cup is ready to be re-inserted or stored in its breathable, cotton carry bag or bathroom storage case. Help Removing Your Cup • Until you get used to your cup, removal can take a bit of practice. Removing your cup in the comfort of your home (or in the shower) may be easier, until you get the hang of it. • Remember to relax your pelvic floor muscles by bearing down, similar to a bowel movement. • The squatting position will also help to relax your pelvic floor. When relaxed, you’ll be able to locate the stem of the cup, then the base. • Do not pull on the stem for removal—the stem is only to help you locate the cup. • Remember to pinch the base to remove the suction. We designed the Cora Cup to be comfortable and easy to use, so you can fearlessly explore an innovative and sustainable way to manage your period. If this is your first time using a cup, it may take 2-3 cycles to learn how it works with your body and to get the hang of it.

I should have ordered the smaller size cause this was big. Definitley a learning curve and not for young first time useres but that was may fault. I got used to it and im not going back to pads or tampons. if you are a teen and or havent given birth get the size 1 other than that, if you have a heavy flow and or have given birth buy this size.

Must have for women and girls
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are amazing. They truly make that time a LOT less annoying. I wish there were a way to shout from the rooftops that these are available, because they are obviously better for the environment, better for women's health, cheaper, easier, last longer, worry free, easier than you think...I could go on and on. I've told a few friends but vow to tell more. I hope to never buy another tampon and I'm 37!
