The Great Value 18 Year LED Dimmable Light Bulbs work perfectly and I love that they are glass and don’t have that plastic part on the bulb like most LED bulbs have these days. I chose the soft white frosted glass. The light bulbs look exactly like regular incandescent bulbs, they fit and screw into the receptacles easily, and they glow brightly immediately upon turning them on. The bulbs are plenty bright enough to light up my kitchen counter area. Although I do not have any dimmable fixtures in our home, that is another great feature of these general purpose bulbs. The bulbs appear to be very well constructed with good thickness glass, the individual packaging is sturdy, and the packaging makes it easy to store unused bulbs in the cabinet. Unfortunately, I can’t assess whether or not they last 18 years as claimed but I surely hope that is a close estimate as that would make these light bulbs super cost effective and also makes them perfect to use in light fixtures that are located in hard to access places. A light bulb that lasts for 18 years also saves me time in terms of not having to change out light bulbs frequently and I now shop for bulbs much less frequently. The bulbs that I chose are a 40-Watt equivalent and the estimated energy cost is $0.66 cents per year per bulb. Overall, these are excellent light bulbs and I would definitely buy these LED bulbs again.

Happy to find this option with all the specs for which I was shopping. I haven't used one of the bulbs yet because I purchased to have on hand after using my previous last spare. Considering expected usage, it should be quite a while before the bulbs are used, but I'm sure they won't get any less expensive were I to wait to purchase. And now I will have them when needed...too spoiled to be without light!
