a part you can't live without.
First I thought it is too expensive but when i saw it it worth every penny, the attention to the details and the quality was hard to ignore and the installation was a breeze, you need two people though, if you are putting an awning on vinyl siding definitely you need it, now it is installed, it looks great. thanks Palram and walmart.

Not the same as shown in pictures
It is not the same product as you see in the pictures. I wanted the mounting kit so that I can mount my Altair 1500 canopy on it on the vinyl siding. But I got the connector kit to join the two canopies side by side. The pictures for product is not correct

Crazy Price for a Piece of Aluminum
If the price seems simply outrageous for what is a single, machined piece of aluminum and a baggie of hardware, you're absolutely right. There should be better ways to mount the company's door awning products to horizontal lap siding, which after all makes up the MAJORITY of the market. This is a money grab, pure and simple.
