It works!
I'm usually a pretty good cook so I just want to buy a simple wireless thermometer for the occasional usage. I looked into the more expensive ones where it's like one big “nail” and thought that they were a little expensive for my use so I bought this simpler one. I would have to say for the price of what I offer a simply works great. The probe is easy to insert and it's much narrow than the nail type design. The readings are very instantaneous and the alarm and the wireless communication all works great. I also like it that it runs on a normal alkaline battery so this way, I won't have to worry about lithium batteries, failing.

I have been watching many YouTube cooking videos and wanted a remote thermometer for a long time. I saw this remote-reading meat thermometer on sale here, so I pulled the trigger. I have used this several times with excellent results. I tested the range of the remote, and it worked at the most extreme points in my house (2400 sq ft split entry). I tested the accuracy at boiling and in an ice water bath, within 2 degrees F. The build quality looks good, and the probes are very robust. I like that it comes with two probes to measure the doneness of several cuts. Push the probes in from the side of the cut so you can turn it on the grill. I am happy with this purchase.
