excellent packing/padding. some minor rips on the outer box, one of which went through the interior packing exposing the table side, but didn't result in any damage. as far as the table, it looks great; whether it is my main or a side table will be determined after my next game in 2 weeks. the cup holders are about 1.25 inches deep, not great but slightly deeper than others i looked at. A portion of the edge of one cup holder is folded over, visible, but doesn't impact its use. So far, I haven't found any other flaws, so only time will tell.
