Trapezoidal Control of Electric Vehicles Power Chain (Paperback)

This book concerns the development of a trapezoidal control strategy of the electric cars (ECs) power chain with coiled rotor axial flux synchronous motor, minimizing their consumption. This control strategy is suitable for a systemic design methodology jointly optimizing the cost and consumption of ECs. It is based on the back electromotive force compensation, on the technique of over-fluxing during hard acceleration phases to minimize power consumption on the one hand and on the weakening technique to achieve the desired maximum speed on the other hand. This study lead to a simulations results with very good level.
