This item holds a pair of shoes perfectly. I wear a size 11.5 shoes and my one pair fits just fine. I place my referee football shoes in the travel shoe bag as these shoes can get dirty after working a football game on wet grass fields. The bag keeps all the grass stuck on the shoes inside the bag and not in my duffel bag. Only thing, don't leave wet or damp shoes inside the bag as they take a long time to dry out.
