Not what I was expecting

Not exactly what I thought it was getting. These are sticky on the whole thing. The bottom part you stick in the soil is not supposed to be sticky, guess that's why they're cheaper. I tried leaving the bottom part white paper on one and the rest I fashioned in my soil by stapling a toothpick to and they work... but it took some work. They don't seem to be sticky for long though I've seen some bugs army crawl off them. Oh and they took over a month to get here.
