Took a few hours to put together, but the directions were very easy to follow. In the end I have a beautiful desk that is sturdy and stylish. I am very pleased with my purchase. Helpful Tips: My suggestions would be to lay out all your pieces first according the letters/numbers (example: A-Z or 1-10). Also, leave the screws in the numbered bags they come in so you don't lose them or forget which number is which. I just used a box cutter and made an opening in each one to access what I needed while still keeping them in their numbered bags. This makes all the difference in saving time and frustration in finding what you need when following the directions. Good luck! I hope you enjoy your desk as much as I do mine! :)

This is a perfect desk for a home office!
The desk is fantastic but the assembly instructions are NOT easy to follow at all! My husband is an engineer and it took him about 5 hours to put together. The little bags of screws are not labeled and some of them are extremely similar. Not all the pieces are labeled either. I love my desk though! The "wood" feels very smooth and it seems rugged enough to withstand my cats claws. Since I have a laptop and don't need the tower compartment, I put plastic drawers in there for storage.
