Yes, it came with a glove! Hallelujah! It has a great blade holder when not in use. Wish it was made in usa, perhaps in the future. I've been on the receiving end of a Mueller mandoline slicer fiasco, not good. These injuries happen so quick - loosing tips of fingers is a reality. A big Plus the finger guard guide has metal protrusions to hold the potato or whatever instead of insane plastic nubs (the rest use) that cause injuries by slipping off the object while slicing. I also like the way the blade cartridges snap in place. I like the fact the blades are flat and not V-shaped. Because of arthritis in my hands, I found it hard to use the food holders but I liked that it came with a glove. It sliced my zucchini nice and even. I had to cut my cheese into smaller pieces before I grated it but it came out great. The carrots sliced nice, grated fantastic and made small sticks which were my favorite. The container has non skid material on the bottom which works! Easy to put together, take apart and clean.
