Small unit, still 1/2 hp, works great.

I bought this disposal last week when my last sprung a small leak into the cabinet. The supply house suggested this one. It was easy to connect and smaller in size than the last 1/2 hp unit I had that lasted about 5 years. This one has a 5 year warranty. We'll see what happens...

Better out of the box

This unit is definitely quieter than the Badger model of the same power, but I would appreciate a little more sound insulation. Smaller in size as well. I decided to hardwire the unit rather than install an outlet; there is just enough extra wire in the housing for one try at doing this. I will be better able to make additional comments after using it a while.
