Product details
This book is a collection of the principles that I wish my daughter and I knew prior to beginning the college admissions process. The principles are shown as "keys" to proverbially unlock the college admissions journey. My daughter and I learned many lessons along our nearly 10-year quest, where we strategically planned, assessed, and reassessed my oldest daughter's goals and life story. This book is meant to assist parents, grandparents, guardians, and any other caregivers or mentors who are trying to assist students with achieving their dream to attend college or university. It is also for those students who do not have a support network and want to overcome the odds on their own. This book is broken into five parts. Part I focuses on forty-two strategies that should be considered during the elementary and secondary school educational timeframe. Part II provides forty helpful tips for executing the college application process successfully. Part III offers four life-lessons that I wish I would have done differently. Part IV is an appendix that provides a summary of the 86 keys to get your student into their dream college. And Part V provides 33 references for you to review at your own leisure to further your overall understanding of the college admissions process. I will walk through several areas of the process in a question and answer type of format with the hope of helping you and your student unlock the mysteries of the college application process, so they may fulfill the legendary hope of attending their dream school.About the author: Jeremiah Conrad Schofield is an experienced senior executive, advocate, author, and local politician with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry, at the local, state, and federal level.
