Quality issues

Got this for my daughter to carry this school year as she's crazy about marvel but growing up to not quite want huge characters on her bag. Minus%231: no side pockets for water bottles/snacks. Minus%232: the inside compartment isn't very large- can't fit her 15” chromebook. Minus %233: a little flimsy- she carries a binder for most school items but needs backpack for 1 change of clothes, 4 composition notebooks, and a paperback book (and water bottle since it doesn't have pockets)- one strap has already frayed almost all the way off at the top. We can sew it but other bags I've bought in the past in the same price range have been able to handle that stuff plus more.
