Baby Einstein - Lullaby Time

This is a great movie for the restless child who needs to relax before going to sleep. I turn this movie on when all the chores are done around the house, turn off all the lights, and sit and watch with my son who is now 17 months. He falls asleep before it is over everytime. Very engaging and soothing.

I watched this DVD with my 2 1/2 month old and she sat for almost 15 minutes just staring at the screen. The music was very calming and she loved watching the various shapes and colors in each scene. I'm a teacher and noticed many great things in this video. One is that it repeats the images, which is good for learning. I also liked that several of the images are things my baby will see at home or in nature, which is also great for learning and helping her make connections. Another thing I really liked is that it didn't focus on one thing for too long. It met the needs of my baby's attention span. I do wish that the main menu had a scene selection rather than having to fast forward to different segments.
