Great movie set for horror and si-fi but not as much of a horror movie set as I expected but very great I will tell others about the fly movie set. I bought the movie set as a birthday set for myself

Not a movie for kids

this movie and the sequel contains very strong sci fi violence and gore and should not be seen by any kids under 17!!!! The first movie is a classic and is seen from time to time on amc, bravo, etc. The second movie The flyII isn't as good ( it wasn't directed by cronenburg) but is a mediocre sci fi movie. I would recommend this set to any adult would enjoys scary sci fi flicks. The first movie is about a scientist(Goldbloom) who accidentally crosses his dna with a housefly and slowly mutates into a grotesque creature. The special effects won an Academy Award in 86. The second is about his son who has the dormant genes and slowly finds out his fate will be his fathers. His only chance is to fix his fathers machine and go through it himself.... The DVD set contains behind the scenes footage and makeup visual effects (which is pretty cool) and documentaries from cast and crew. The first movie is a nine out of ten the second is a six. Hope this is helpful.
