Absolutely love this machine
Purchased this for my boyfriend for his birthday as his other one died on us. It fit perfectly where the other one was and had a little bit more room. He usually makes the drinks but this has brought back out that barista I once was. Would highly recommend this machine.
Great Coffee Maker With Extras!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, is this big. It comes with the coffee pot on the right and the espresso/cappuccino maker on the left. It comes with the press, a filter, a spoon and the coffee pot. The water container in the back is designed for the pot so there is never any spills -- and you can take it out to clean for hard water! The espresso/cappuccino side comes with a grate that can be taken out and cleaned from time to time too. Same goes for the filter. It is the same as other coffee (pod-type) filters. The coffee pot will require a paper filter to keep it clean, but not required. The coffee maker has a clock for timed pours. You can make small pots of coffee too as needed. Whether it is coffee, espresso, cappuccino or latte, each one has specific directions. You will want to keep the direction booklet nearby until you get the hang of doing it. It is kind of fun to make milk frothy for a latte -- but it does not come with a milk cup. You have tog get that on your own. I just use a small mug. You also will have to get little espresso cups! Thankfully the coffee side is a large 10 cup pot -- great for the big mugs! Everything is so easy -- just press a button! Beautiful countertop unit -- all stainless steel with thick black durable plastic. Nice touch for coffee drinkers! It is a bit over the top for our use, since we will most be drinking coffee. But man, an afternoon latte does hit the spot!
You had me at latte!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this coffee and espresso maker! Things I would change? It would be nice to put a taller cup under the espresso side and also to have a stainless steel pitcher included to steam the milk. Other than those two suggestions, it is easy to use and I like that both sides can be working at the same time. Worth the investment if you are a latte junkie! P.S. It helps if you know an old-school barista to help with technique! Milk steaming needs to be 120-140 degrees and stop at 160 or you'll scold the milk. Some like it up to 180, but I think it tastes nasty.
