Monopoly Express

A friend and I were discussing Monopoly one day and we wanted to know when it was first released. We went to Hasbro's website for that information and found a list of new games. Monopoly Express was one of them. They had an online demo that got me hooked! So, naturally, I came to Walmart and purchased it! Monopoly Express is a great new game. This game takes the best of an old favorite and puts it into a more condensed version. It can be played by 2 - 4 players and can be as short or as long as you choose. It is compact so it is great for travel. When I visited my nephews when they were younger and it was game night, they always picked Monopoly because it is such a long game and they would get to stay up longer. Then, they would have to stop mid-game to go to bed. Monopoly Express allows them to play a shorter version their favorite game without having to stop before someone wins. And, anyone can play. The only negative comment I have is the container. It is packaged in a round plastic container that fastens in 2 places. If the container gets warped in any way, the lid may not secure properly. On one of the games I had to secure it with 2 rubber bands to keep the lid closed. Other than that, it is a great game and I would recommend it for anyone who likes Monopoly. As I said, if you want to get an idea of how to play it, check out Hasbro's website for an online demo. Then, come back to Walmart and order a few. My hope is that the Walmart stores will start stocking this as well as making it available online.

This is a wonderful version of Monopoly that can be played almost anywhere. After purchasing, we took a trip and this came in handy to kill time in the airport and on the airplane! I would reccomend for anyone from 5 to 105.
