I did use the rug grippers on the corners.(I have dogs and grandchildren that like to run through the house. %26 I didn’t want anyone wiping out.) I like the idea of just throwing it in the washing machine. It’s pretty simple. I think it would do extremely well in an area that did not have high running traffic, but the rug is beautiful exactly as shown.
