On my Fosi DS2 the bass level is higher with balanced wiring using this cable

If I didn't use this cable I'd probably have selected the ER4XR instead of the SR. This appears to be common for single-ended vs balanced headphone amps.

Sounds great when it works, other than that, just stick with tried and true 3.5mm unbalanced

I always wanted to try the 2.5mm balanced cable with my ER4 Series headset and my AK120II and Cowon Plenue D2. But when I tried it on both devices, connection is very flaky. One channel cuts out consistently and slight movement of the device would cut out or drop out the signal. I got so fed up, I just stopped using it. Cable is not cheap, but to have this kind of issue is very disappointing.

Not good and fragile

The braided cable is not a good idea i prefer the genuine one, i received an ER4 and it makes resonances when you use it you hear the cable hitting themselves not good for comfort and production or even nomade use. It quickly have been defective after receiving.
