My kids used this several times This winter, it's heavier than your regular plastic sleds. They used the plastics sleds first to create paths in inches of snow and then they were able to use these. They really liked the steering wheel. They didn't know there was a brake in the middle To pull and never tried it yet. We ordered a blue and red , the red arrived in a box that read pink gizmo and I was nervous it was going to be pink and it actually was red that we ordered. The steering wheel was hidden under the sled and needed to be attached which was easy and directions were included. I used the front pull cords to pull my child In the sled up and down the driveway without any issues.
