When you need something more durable than a cap rivet but find rivet-and- ring difficult or impossible to snip off the excess rivet shank, THIS is the answer. The compound function allows you to get within a millimeter of the burr (ring) without having a hand cramp or failure.

Innovative design that really does work!

Initally wondering about these pliers, but I purchased these and was pleasantly surprised by the power and precision of the blades! I have several pair of high end diagonal cutters/by Craftsman (the original) and Snap-On and doing a side by side comparison, this one was the winner. It cuts very smoothly with hardly any effort, small nails, thick wires, goes through them easily! Plus **If you are a bicycle mechanic or someone who has to cut braided wire, this handles it with no problem**. This is something that even high end diagonal cutters can not do. Construction appears to be solid and the grips are very comfortable. The pliers only measure 7 1/4 long, but they really do the job. No opinion on the long term durability, but they appear to be well made. A definite must have!
