I purchased the 9x12, 5x7 and 3x5 for the main living room, office and front door. These rugs make the room feel cozy. They are not thick, but they are soft and make the room feel complete and luxurious. Beyond expectations! They lay flat and the colors are so incredible and pull the room together. I read the description and all other reviews. I personally am a floor person. I have carpet in my home, but my son has hardwood and likes the ability to keep things clean and orderly and he has a couch and chair for his relaxation, he is not much for laying around on the floor. The rugs are excellent, I highly recommend!!!! Machine washable is also a big plus, because I am more about carefully maintaining my environment rather than replacing and adding to the destruction of the environment. So, to be able to wash a rug and keep it for a long time, instead of trying to care for a bulky, old fashioned rug or carpet remnant it also a plus for this responsible recycler.

This is also a great carpet. I was planning to use it in our front door entryway. It is silky soft. The warm caramel and cream colors are beautiful. It has a soft subtle abstract design. Beautiful. But the dark brown in it was so dark, it appeared black from a distance. I don't really care for black. If, the dark brown was a lighter brown, I would have loved it!!!!
