Great pitcher! We just bought a new refrigerator and it does not have a water center in it so I bought this to keep water chilled. I added sliced lemon and mint. The lid has two openings a full opening and a mesh like opening. We keep it on the mesh like opening, and the lemons and mint do not get through. I love it so much I will be buying another one for plain water for our guests who prefer plain water.

This pitcher is well made, elegant looking and designed to be functional. Well done! This looks so lovely on the table it makes a beautiful gift and you'll actually enjoy using it. Oh, i have arthritis so I'm extra sensitive to hand feel and weight. I detest the extra heavy design of some kitchen items which i think is to compensate for cheap material. This is not that. It is neither ridiculously heavy or that light, fly away cheap glass. It has a lovely balance and hand feel. I expect to enjoy it for many years to come.

Sometimes service ware needs a boost and this glass carafe provides. The stainless lid provides the spout for cubes or give it a turn and it strains to keep ice or fruit from pouring out. If you are concerned about microplastics, I highly recommend this well designed and crafted glass carafe provides. Easy to clean, presents beverages beautifully and delivers a healthy antidote.
