Mat works Well

We had read reviews that said this mat was too flimsy to resist wind or not rip where lawn staples are used. NOT SO. It's very windy here in the spring, and we used staples every 3-4 ft. The mat held firm. It allows in light and water so the seed germinates and grows. We ran out of mat and so had an experiment with matted vs. un-matted areas. The un-matted grew faster, but the matted (which we removed after a couple weeks) did catch up. We used mat to protect the seed from plentiful birds.
