When I first was thinking about buying this laptop, I gave it much thought. I asked colleagues and friends of mine what they thought about the laptop. Everyone agreed that it looks excellent in terms of the processor and the amount of RAM. However, a friend of mine who purchased this laptop before I did tell me the battery life was horrible! And it was true. When opening the box and powering on the computer, the battery life was less than 2 hours. However, after sticking with the laptop to see if this can really be possible, I found that updating the computer was the best thing you can do. After ALL the updates were completed, the computer works fabulously. Prior to the updates, the computer would: Become very hot, last less than two hours, and would not run efficiently as you would expect. Overall Rating: Excellent laptop and a really good value in terms of speed and memory. To get the most out of the laptop, or any laptop you purchase, be sure to complete any and all updates as these updates often fix most issues.
