It's specially hand-forged, so you get a razor-sharp tool that will last. It also can handle light forest work. Hand-forged of Swedish steel. Comes with a protective leather sheath. Single bit head 1-3/4 lb. Curved hickory handle 20"L. Total wt 2-1/2 lb. Handcrafted in Sweden since 1697!. Put three centuries worth of craftsmanship right in your hands. Hults Bruk axes and hatchets are made with a razor sharp quality that could only be learned through years of experience. Each blade is hand-forged of Swedish steel, so you get a tool that won't falter under pressure. The steel is struck multiple times to increase its density, so it's more durable. Axe head is made in a way that there is a tempered zone that holds a very sharp edge. Handle is treated with linseed oil.

Hults Bruk Aneby Hatchet
This is a nice hatchet, handle length and overall feel is just right. Has good weight and balance. You can deliver positive strikes with no fear of bounce. It comes super sharp. An excellent purchase that I trust will last a long time.
