Love It!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is bomber and has killer ergos. I've gone away from wood handles due to living the the desert where the wood shrinks and the heads loosen. Been using the other popular brand which is great, but I like this much better. The propper hammer is awesome for banging a wedge (go easy on plastic ones), the curved blade "hook" almost doubles as a picaroon for log rolling/grabbing, and the handle guard is a nice touch. The 28" handle is as short as I would want to go for a splitter, and it promotes an active athletic swing that I like way more than my 36" splitter which feels more like an old school Paul Bunyon situation. This thing is heavy, so be prepared. Doesn't work well for one-handed use due to the weight, so have a smaller one handy for splitting the smalls. Did I mention it looks awesome too. And thanks for making it bright orange. Anyone who works out in the forest with your stuff spread across a 100' radius knows the worth of this. Highly recommend!
