Great beginning sewing machine

Great beginning sewing machine. My 12 year old daughter mastered the side-loading bobbin very quickly. This is not a feather weight machine. I wanted one that weighed more for increased stability when sewing at faster speeds-so it wouldn't bounce. This one doesn't bounce. It really is a good product and will last her several years. The only downside to this machine is that it's pretty noisy.
