Chaps Men's Plain Classic Suit with Stretch

Sadly, I've entered that stage in life where a dark suit for funerals is becoming necessary. After avoiding them for over a decade, I've been to two in the past few months and, unfortunately, expect a few more. Wearing my old, oversized suit from 20 years ago just wasn't cutting it anymore—I looked like I borrowed something from my dad's closet. I didn't want to drop $500 on a suit I might only wear a handful of times a year, so I've been on the lookout for something affordable but decent. On a whim, I picked this one up on sale for about $74 and figured, if it kind of fit, great. Well—it fits perfectly right out of the box. I'm 6'3", about 215 lbs, and typically wear a 42L jacket. The jacket fits like it was tailored for me. The pants are labeled 36, but they run a bit snug—I usually wear a 34-35, so that worked out. Fabric-wise, it's definitely on the lower end: a polyester blend with no wool in sight. It looks fine, but don't expect high-end texture or drape. If I were wearing it daily, I don't think it would hold up for more than a year. But for the occasional formal event or last-minute suit need, this is an absolute win—especially from a known brand. If you're in a similar boat—occasional use, decent fit, low cost—this suit hits the mark.
