Material: it's great. Washed by hand or if in washing machine do not put clothes that have Velcro or zippers so as not to damage socks. Comfort: Very comfortable. Can be worn for hours. Husband does NOT wear them to sleep. Description: Make sure you measure calf as company recommends. You can always call & ask questions. These socks are very well constructed. Fit true to size. Story: Husband was quite hesitant at first when I bought the first pair. Then, very surprised his legs' circulation felt so much better. I bought him more, a total of extra 6 socks for the second purchase. All different brands/ colors. Now he wears them every day! I am very happy his legs feel better & these socks have made a big difference for him. My sincere thanks to this company for carrying such great socks.
