I checked our water pressure before I ordered this, so I knew it met the requirement for effecive operation - but I was pleasently surprised at how well this worked! I did do a pre-soak in a Cascade dishwasher detergent mix, and that undoubtedly helped, but it cleaned more quiclky than I anticipated. I can solidly recommend this!

The Blaster 3000 Cartridge Pool Filter Cleaner is easy to use and does a good job cleaning. The cleaner's pressure is entirely dependent on the water pressure from the source. It requires a minimum of 50 PSI, but 70 PSI is ideal. Occasionally, I need to use a high-pressure wand to remove deeper debris from the filter. While the quality is above average, it's not as durable or robust as I would prefer. If handled roughly it could be damaged. I have a saltwater pool, and these units typically last between two to three years before the gears stop working or another issue arises. Overall, I'm satisfied with the unit, as this is likely my third or fourth one over the last 20 years.
