a great 1st board game

This is a board game based on the popular "Goodnight Moon" bedtime story. It has several levels of play difficulty, so that once a child has passed beyond a level, he/she can still play the game. It is very simple, simple enough for little ones not yet ready for other games. I gave it to my daughter at age 3, and she caught on right away and wanted to play again and again. (The game says age 2 1/2 and up, and I think my daughter could have played it at the earlier age as well.) At 4 1/2, she still plays it some, although not as much as she used to, since she is now old enough for other games. I think so much of this game that I just bought another one for my soon-to-be 3 yr old twin nieces.

A GREAT GAME BASED ON A GREAT BOOK

I bought this for my 3-year-old son as a Christmas present and he absolutely loves it. The thing I love the most about this game is that there are no small parts for children to loose. Everything in it is just the right size for small hands. It comes with several different levels of play for different age groups which makes it a great game for the whole family. I really like that it can be played in a one-on-one situation or with a group. The first time we played it, my 6 and 8-year-old daughters were playing with the 3-year-old and having just as much fun as he was. Based on the children's book GOODNIGHT MOON, this game is perfect for young children who are just learning to play games.

Good for little ones

I like this game for its versatility...i.e. there are 5 or so versions of different ways to play it. At the end of the day, though, it is really only good up to 3 years as it is mostly all matching - and even if your kid is new to it, they will memorize it pretty quickly. I have a 3, 5, and 10 month old at the time I bought this, and my 3 year old is pretty much over it 1 week after Christmas. I am saving it thogh to start it earlier with the little one. We love the book - I wish the game was a little more challenging and interesting.
