Each pen is made of solid aluminum combined with genuine carbon and is compact when capped (approx. 4.1 inches long), but very comfortable when posted (5.2 inches long). The German-made pens have a matte finish and include a Kaweco logo on the top of the cap. This pen comes with one blue ink cartridge. The cartridge comes inside the barrel of the pen. If the cartridge seems to be stuck inside the barrel, try gently tapping the barrel against a hard surface a few times to dislodge it.
