Portable jaws for work

I needed a moveable, reliable vice to hold planing stock. I bought a work station clamp force from Northern Tool and it works like a champ! Strong and mostly well designed.

Well built, clamped an odd shaped 200 lb 6” thick piece of pecan so I could chainsaw it in half for 2 table tops. Only con is pull handle/tool length means pulling it you have to stoop over-and I am only 5' 10”. Plan to make a longer wooden handle to resolve.
