Only way to go, ZERO frustration
For a DIY this is the way to go. I live in Central Florida and have the typical pool Lanai screening you will typically find. I have replaced wind damaged screen panels both with these clips and without clips, for the DIY clips are the ONLY way to go.

Fabulous invention!
When installing/replacing screening that uses flat spline, these clips are a must. They are the best invention since sliced bread. The clips hold the screen in place making it much easier to keep it taut and install the spline.
