Pretty good biography for kids

I got this because our son has gotten into history, and he loves to laugh - and I thought this book would fit the bill, and it almost does, but at 11 years old, it is a little on the young side for him. But it seems like it's a pretty good book - each page has a drawing, often with an amusing caption or speech bubble, and there is good information. Not too long of a book; not dry and boring!
