Bought a white pair in 6.5 for my elderly mother to wear for appointments and other casual outings instead of her other full leather, harder sole shoes with laces that were rubbing on her feet after years of use. She had other sneakers before but rarely wore them and thought they were 'heavy' (they weren't), so hadn't tried any other sneakers till I saw these in the store. They are nice and light weight, but seem to be decently constructed. At first she wasn't thrilled with the looks, but after she wore them around the house for a while and on a couple outings, she now wears them almost every day in the house too. She tells others how comfortable they are, and it took her a while to get used to the velcro straps, but now she appreciates how much easier those are to deal with than laces at her age. My sister also bought a pair after trying on our mother's, and also likes how comfortable they are. They're nice and cushy to walk in, so no hard heel strikes. She's had them for about 6-8 months now and so far they've held up great, although she's only 105 lbs and doesn't walk much, and the house is carpeted. So recommended for cheap sneakers that are comfortable.
