Very Realistic!

I chose the RBF-30 Revillusion firebox based on product videos and I have not been disappointed. The firebox was added to a custom built cabinet/mantelpiece ensemble and it is awesome. I also purchased the doors and a 'crackler' so it feels like we are sitting by a real fire! The heater was not a priority for us, and with it being May, not presently in use. A review of this feature might come later.

Great product.

There is no other electric fireplace that compares to the Revillusion series. I have the RBF30 and it is amazing how good it looks. I've seen, and have owned, other electric fireplace inserts and they all pale in comparison. Unless you have a light source directly in front of the insert there is no reflection at all. The illusion of depth is flawless. The fan is a bit loud on the heater but for me that is not an issue since I don't use the heater. The flame effect is silent. It has the most convincing flame of any product save maybe the Optymist, but without the worry of filling a water reservoir or maintenance to keep the misting elements from clogging and so on. Just turn it on and enjoy it.
