We have a smaller portable Ooni Pizza oven that we've had for several years but we wanted a free-standing one. The assembly instructions are absolutely horrible! My husband, who is quite handy and can assemble just about anything was so frustrated by the time we were done putting this together (it took about 3 hours) that he literally said almost immediately that he wanted to get rid of it and keep our Ooni. However, that evening he loaded it with wood and we made pizzas and although I personally thought the Ooni pizza oven made better pizza (because the flames come from the top), this one will suffice.
