Very handy!

This jar is an attractive way to save bacon grease right on the counter. I got the red and it's a pretty dark red that blends well in my kitchen. My only almost-issue is that we don't use the strainer part but the lid doesn't really stay on unless its in place. Still love it though!

Nice size for a family of two.

I was using a random teacup for bacon grease. Uuugly! This is much nicer and matches our spoon rest. I would prefer a shiny finish, however. The finish is similar to semi-gloss paint. More white speckles would also be nice. Two quibbles but overall I do like it. If I broke it I would purchase another.

Just what I Needed

I purchased the green grease saver and it is so cute and stylish compared to the butter dish I had used for years. The secret for keeping container from getting too hot is to let the grease cool a bit before pouring in as I had to do with my butter dish as it surely would have melted. The only con for this item is that the holes for the strainer are rather large so it doesn't keep small bits out and since I keep my grease in the fridge, the grease hardens and seals the holes closed for next time. I just use a regular wire mesh strainer now to solve that problem. Overall very happy with my container, it's a perfect size for me.
