At least visually, the quality of the Meihejia bits themselves is fine and they really are remarkable value. Relative to the more expensive brands offering the same bits, if there are deficiencies attendant to the low price of these, it's the quality of the paint job and of the guide wheel/bearing. That said, the paint is fine on some. The carbide edges are the same thickness as others and it's hard to discern any difference in sharpness. A few things to keep in mind. You absolutely must have a variable speed router with a minimum two horsepower. You cannot run these at 25,000 to 30,000 rpm in a single speed router. Secondly, depending on the diameter (cutting depth) of the individual bit, plan on making at least three passes and as many as five. And that's with pine or mdf. I would be very cautious with hard wood like oak. If you have plans (or should I say dreams) to produce great lengths of molding with these, plan differently. Doing an 8' length will not be quick. These bits are not for beginners. I'm an intermediate user, and they challenge me. I hope practice and experimentation will yield consistently good results and caution will prevent mishaps. You must absolutely use feather boards and push sticks as it's entirely possible to get kickback or other problems until you understand how to use the bits. You don't want your hands anywhere near the bit given that you're only dealing with ¾” thickness and you're trying to route about 2” vertically, rather than a mere edge. In addition, DO NOT let anyone (including yourself of course) stand in the kickback path of the work piece.
