These are the perfect lightweight curtain that filters light but doesn't block it. I didn't want my living room to feel like a cave with blackout curtains nor be transparent with sheers. These are the perfect in between. They have the texture and feel of a chenille bedspread. I used 3 panels for a regular sized window to give more sun filtering for the summer. I will likely take one panel out for winter. I love these curtains.
