Good Product

So far, this product is a good one. I haven't really used the car charger at all, but the wall charger works great! However, as mentioned in other reviews, the cord that comes with this product is not retractable. It has directions and pictures for a retractable model, but the cord that actually comes with the product is a plain, straight cord.

Not what it seems, but it's OK

In spite of allthe online images and the back of the packaging, this product does NOT come with a retractable USB cord (this has also been mentioned in other reviews). I purchased this to use with a 4th generation iPhoto ("iPod with Color Display"). I needed to reformat it from PC to Mac, and in the process it needed to be charged with a wall plug. This is the 2nd cord kit I purchased and it didn't work. I tried the car charger and it did work. Turns out the wall plug didn't provide enough juice to finish the reformatting, but now that it is finished, it charges fine.
