Third party seller, Milano has sold me an expired cosmetic product. The item arrived as if it was fished out of the trash; the package is scratched, bent and tattered - and the sponge that comes with the product disintegrated in my hands. A special promo offer insert inside the item listed an expiration date of 1997 - which would make this product about 27 years old.
When I started the return, because I've obviously been sent someone's “garbage,” the seller's first excuse for selling an expired facial product was that it was “vintage,” which was not listed at point of purchase and is also opposite the 2-year recommendation put out by the American Academy of Dermatology. Which means there is no such thing as a safe “vintage” cosmetic.
Now, Milano is giving me another run around where they won't supply the required return label - they said they will have to ask Walmart what the proper procedure is for selling a customer an expired product - a product that looks like total trash and obviously isn't wanted.
You have a third party seller selling expired cosmetics - it has an Amazon scammer feel to it.
Please help me return this garbage free of charge.
